The Investment
An heirloom is not an expense; it is the last time you buy that piece of furniture. Here is what one costs, and why.
Collection pieces made as designed start at the figures above. Fully bespoke Co-Carved commissions are quoted individually after our first design conversation — in writing, with no obligation to proceed. Shipping is quoted separately by destination.
What Shapes the Price
SIZE & PROPORTION
More solid Sheesham, more seasoning time, and more hours at the bench. A king bed simply holds more wood — and more work — than a side table.
CARVING DENSITY
A clean-lined piece like the Daira asks days of an artisan; deep-relief Jaali lattice like the Takht asks hundreds of hours. Carving is the single largest driver of price.
FINISH & DETAILS
Hand-applied stains and sealing are included. Gilded accents, upholstery, custom hardware, or matched sets add to the quote.
How Payment Works
Design first, commit later
The design conversation and sketches carry no obligation. You only commit when you approve the final design and written quote.
A deposit secures your commission
Your deposit reserves your place in the carving calendar and your Sheesham stock. The exact deposit and schedule are set out in your written quote before you pay anything.
Balance before shipping
The remaining balance is due when your piece passes final inspection — after you have seen and approved the finished photographs.
Every Commission Includes

The most accurate quote begins with a conversation about your space.
