Hand & Hewn is a design partnership, and partnerships run on trust. This page explains, plainly, what happens to the information you share with us.
What we collect
When you contact us through the inquiry form, newsletter signup, email, phone, or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share: typically your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. We do not sell furniture through this site, so we never collect payment details here.
How we use it
We use your details solely to respond to your inquiry, prepare your quote, keep you informed about your commission, and — if you subscribed — send the occasional studio letter. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who processes it for us
Inquiry and newsletter submissions are processed by Formspree, which delivers them to our studio inbox. Site traffic is measured with Datafast, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use advertising cookies. Messages you send via WhatsApp are governed by WhatsApp’s own terms.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to serve your commission and our records. You may ask us to delete your information at any time by writing to cocarve@handandhewn.com, and we will honor the request unless a record must be retained for a completed commission.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any letter, or by writing to us. You can request a copy or deletion of the information we hold about you by emailing cocarve@handandhewn.com.
